Ropa Ranch is owned by Rosanne and Paul Gmuer. The name Ropa was selected by taking the first two letters from each of their names (ROsanne and PAul).

Since 1972, the Gmuer's have been breeding, purchasing and selling Paso Fino horses. Now located in Ocala, Florida, they have a variety of outstanding registered Paso Finos on hand--from trail blazing pleasure horses to competitive National and International Champion show horses.

Rosanne Gmuer is very active in the Paso Fino community and is currently the Treasurer for the Paso Fino Horse Association (PFHA). She has been an active trail parade rider, placed first in Competitive Trail Riding (25 miles) and has won first place at Nationals in Amateur Owner Performance Stallions.

Today, most of Rosanne's activities revolve around standing Prometido de Selecta as a top Paso Fino breeding stallion and running an active horse farm where outside client horses are trained and lovingly cared for.
